Annie Minogue has been a singer, songwriter and musician her entire life; her father was a professional musician and their household was always filled with music and talent, giving her a positive perspective of the industry as a wonderful way to make a living. Her debut album Home was released in 2000 on the Nippon Crown label in Japan, pulling in non stop good reviews by everyone that heard it, and leading to more releases on her own Liberty Palace Records label; the EP Blessed, second album Love Parade and latest work Tripping the Velvet, as well as appearing on CMJ and ROCKRGRL compilations. Her songs have enjoyed substantial media coverage with tracks appearing on MTV, Dawson’s Creek, MSNBC, Lifetime TV, Japanese News, two independent feature films, Q104.3 FM and 93.3 FM as well as receiving a mountain of complimentary interviews and awards including National Artist of the Year (LA Music Awards), Female Vocalist of the Year (South Bay Music Awards), Top Music Artist (Temecula Music and Film Festival), and the ASCAP Popular Music Award several years in a row, On the live side Annie and her band focus primarily on festivals and have appeared with some incredible talents, playing the Viper Ball (opening for Shane MacGowan), Summerfest (opening for Black Eyed Peas), Texas State Fair (headlining), Guinness Music Festival (opening for Dave Navarro), Sundance Film Festival, Tommy Hilfiger Stage in West Palm Beach (opening for Poison), Rising Sun Music Festival, New York Music Festival, David Lee Roth's USA tour (opening act), Sturgis Music Festival (opening for the Steve Miller Band) and Chris Whitley’s USA tour (support band). Fresh from signing Asian market and Irish deals for Tripping the Velvet and with praise and more awards buzz piling in Annie hopes to be coming to the UK in the very near future.
